Schools & Colleges

UWC’s 18 schools and colleges are set on four continents and deliver a challenging and transformational education to over 12,000 students each year.

Each UWC school and college has its own distinct character, shaped by its setting,  host country, cultural context and community. Some campuses are surrounded by nature while others are based in towns or cities. These environments help shape the student experience – whether through hands-on learning about sustainability in a rainforest or by exploring the history of a local area to better understand the challenges of building a more peaceful and just future. 

At the same time, what makes each one a UWC is a  diverse student body and a shared commitment to the UWC mission of making education a force for peace and sustainability. Across the movement, students from all over the world and many different backgrounds come together to  live, learn and grow – with and from each other – as they explore how to make a positive difference.
